THE MODEL:
The Centurian was designed on paper in a rough draft first. I added details to the drawing as I went along. The ship is designed as if it were an escort vehicle. It has limited armament, and fast speed.

SCALE:
The model was built to a scale of 1"=50'.
The model is approximately 12" long.

CONSTRUCTION:

The hull of the model was constructed from paper towel tubes wrapped in .010" sheet styrene. The rear and forward sections of the model was made from sheet styrene of various thicknesses. I added details from a variety of sources, including electronics parts, kit parts, Model RR parts, wire, and brass tubing. I modified all of the kit parts to change the look of them. The model was painted with Poly S paints. I weathered it with Poly S paints and Pastels.
